It was awesome and the guide was great. He spoke English and Spanish and was able to communicate with the group.
Feel like a soccer star entering the field on this 3-hour tour of the legendary Maracana Stadium. See a collection of mementos of the stars who made history in this temple of world football. Get ready for an exciting journey, exploring its history with video, sound and a variety of different experiences. It is not every stadium that has seen 2 World Cup Finals! There is a lot of history here and excitement in the air. You don't have to imagine how the world's biggest football stars such as former players Zico, Pelé and Garrincha feel here, you can feel it too.
Guide was very nice, but knew nothing about football and did not actually show us round the stadium. Did not expect to have to share transport with another group. Pick-up time was confusing- given 3 different times and he turned up 10 minutes after the latest time. Actually only lasted a bare 2 hours, not 3, so poor value for money.
Your aviation adventure begins at Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, or Sugarloaf (depending on option chosen), where you board the helicopter and set off for a bird's eye view tour of Rio de Janeiro. As you fly over this vibrant city, admire unforgettable panoramic views of the landscape below, and appreciate this truly unique experience. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to marvel at the beaches, mountains, and iconic landmarks of the city from the skies. There are 4 options to choose from when booking your helicopter tour.
I went in a small helicopter and sat in the front, so I had perfect views. I think the helicopter holds four passengers. Beautiful views of Rio. I especially appreciated the views of Christ the Redeemer. No hassles. Straight forward. Up in the air shortly after arriving. There may be a height restriction limit of 170 cm, that I was unaware of until I arrived and ready through the safety instructions. May be worth checking.
Start your private Rio de Janeiro adventure with a drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Go to Corcovado Station and ride to the base of the Christ the Redeemer statue by train. Upon arrival at the top of Corcovado, get a meet and greet at the main monument of Brazil and marvel at the 710-meter statue of Christ with his arms outstretched. Look further towards Copacabana, Botafogo, Flamengo and the famous Sugar Loaf mountain. Descend Corcovado and continue you...
Booking the private tour with C2Rio was easily the best money we spent in Rio. Our wonderful guide João had an encyclopedic knowledge of the city. He adjusted the tour to suit our particular interest in architecture and design, fitting in extra sights and experiences between the normal places. João even helped us build an itinerary for our next day in Rio. If you are on the fence about a private vs a group tour definitely make the private tour happen!

Really informative tour and we saw loads in the time however the bus late to start with by about 30 minutes. Good value for money!
Explore Tijuca National Forest in meticulously restored ex-military open-air off-road vehicles. After hotel pick-up, cut to the Lagoa with the striking view of the Christ statue and head to the rainforest. Stop at the famous Vista Chinesa to discover the history of this unique monument as you'll soak in the views of the Christ Statue in the distance. Move on to the Cascatinha Visconde de Taunay waterfall, and take a quick dip in the crystal clear refreshing water. Continue to a charming chapel constructed in 1855, and start the first of 2 trails. See coatis, toucans, and monkeys! Take a restroom stop and start the second trail of the tour, passing through the Atlantic forest with the sounds of waterfalls following your footsteps. Hop back into your top-down Jeep and head to the famous São Conrado Beach to watch the hand-gliders, before your scenic drive back to your hotel.
Guide was very nice. Hotel pickup was very easy. Most of the trip is riding in the Jeep through many curvy roads and turns. Not much hiking. Only about 300 meters long. Then walking around about 4 major tourist stops. Our Jeep actually got stuck and had to get towed up a hill due to the New Years traffic. We didn’t have to wait long. I was actually impressed it only took 20-30 minutes. This should not be confused with hiking. It’s a riding trip through a public park. Cost wise, still cheaper than taking a taxi or Uber that would not be available in the park.
