What People Are Saying About Rialto Bridge

Wonderful tour around this city's fascinating streets and canals

Excellent value for money, our guide Katerina, was very informative as she took us through the back streets of Venice to some beautiful spots that we would have never known existed!! The tour finished off with a 30 minute gondola ride through the canals of Venice which was fascinating. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

A good experience to see what gondola travel feels like

Prepare for a shared gondola that will seat 6 tourists. You do not choose your seat - heavier passengers tend to be placed on the 'romantic" rear seats & others seated on cushion seats or a chair. Went Sept 15 for ride at 4pm & booked it via mobile internet only 2 hrs earlier! We found gondola station beforehand; Venice has many gondola bases that all do different routes. You wait for agency guide to arrive to check you in. The stationmaster does not deal with vouchers. As gondola rides are the busiest tourist attraction in Venice, be prepared for no romance or gondolier attention - this is just a chance to ride in a gondola on a short route of the canals & then be taken onto the Grand Canal for a short while before heading back to base. The trip advises 35 mins but its about 25mins all in. The gondoliers are v occupied shouting to one another en route. It was fine to see what it's like. Note: The set price at any station for private hire is 80€ per gondola daytime; 100€ at night.

Gondola Ride excellent, walking tour fair

Gondola ride was fun - a bucket list item. The walking tour was interesting, the guide was good, but just too fast and hard to hear the guide.

Great introduction to Venice - July 2014

My wife and I visited Venice for our first Anniversary and this Gondola ride and tour were the perfect way to start on our first day. We found the meeting place very easy to get to and the whole process simple - literally a case of take your passport and printed off voucher (head of party only) and present to the tour operator at the designated time - ours was 3pm. The Gondola ride was first and we took some truly amazing photographs from water level and then the tour (led by Ilaria - not sure if I have spelt that correctly) followed. Our guide was very knowledgable about the locale and though the tour was not designed to cover absolutely everything, we certainly learned a thing or two whilst equally discovering some of the many wonderful sights Venice has to offer. If you are after a well priced and good value for money introduction to this beautiful city, I would highly recommend.

Walking Tour of Hidden Venice and Iconic Gondola Ride Reviewed by Christopher, 07/04/2014

A fantastic way to learn about Venice and not get lost in the streets.

Myself and my two daughters had an amazing guide who knows Venice inside out. We occassionally had slight difficulty hearing our guide through our personal audios. The backstreets of Venice are both peacefuland beautiful. The tour finished with a wonderful gondola ride which was the highlight of our trip to Venice.
