Throne of Helios: The History of Rhodes in 9D Experience

The second movie, Rhodes Race is a 6 minutes long and shows a chariot race with the 12 Gods of Olympus. It is a unique combination of historical tradition and high technology, in the historic building of the old cinema of St. George, the first cinema ever establish in Rhodes. Architects, engineers, Greek and European technicians, interior designers, sculptors and historic consultants have created exclusive 9D entertainment in order to enrich the travel experience of visitors and help upgrade Rhodes as a tourist destination.  Viewers, after fastening their seat belts and putting on their special 3D glasses, are transferred into a realistic environment of an era long gone. Apollo, Zeus and the other ancient Greek gods, the Colossus of Rhodes, the Hospitaller Knights of the order of St. John, the Ottoman fleet led by Suleiman the Magnificent and the earthquake that shook the ancient world are all parts of this beautiful and adventurous 9D Throne of Helios journey. Battles, disasters, ancient cities and imposing medieval buildings come alive again in a way that will amaze you and your children. During the journey it is not only the rain that you feel or the jolt of the earthquake as the Colossus of Rhodes collapses in front of your eyes but also the strong winds, the swords of the knights and the battle cries. The journey will walk you through the ancient forests and lakes of the island of Rhodes, and among the dangerous snakes and reptiles of the island while smelling the scent of the trees and the beautiful flowers of Rhodes.
