Francesca was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to; obviously very passionate about Heidelberg (having moved there from Italy 11 years ago) and this was conveyed through her tour. She is softly spoken and very easy to listen to. It was lovely that there were only 3 of us on the English speaking tour, so a very intimate feel. The tour was supposed to last 1.5 hours but ended up being 2 hours, Francesca obviously wanted to give us as much information as possible. Highly recommended, and even better if you get Francesca!

A glance onto the guestlist, which boasts crowned heads and famous artists of all genres, will convey its glamour in previous tim...
We very much enjoyed a two and a half hour Segway trip with the lovely Carla, who was happy, chatty and full of little snippets of information. The Segway ride itself was easy and very pleasant, taking us the whole way around Heidelberg and its surrounds, as well as visiting the Wolf’s Fountain, the Castle and the cobbled Old Town, giving us a good insight into the town in a relatively short amount of time. The thing that made our Segway trip extra special was that the whole of Europe was engulfed in a heatwave, including Heidelberg, however we managed to glide effortlessly and elegantly around the whole city without breaking a sweat! We would recommend this trip to anyone.

Our worldwide team met in Heidelberg for a bi-annual meeting and we wanted to spend a little time getting to know the city. We booked the tour for after dinner (9pm) which allowed us to walk off some of the amazing German food we consumed. We hit several historic sites and learned a great deal of history while capturing some spectacular photos of the castle and bridge at night. Everyone enjoyed the tour and the time together as a group. I would recommend this tour for any small to medium group (we had 10 people) as it worked well to be able to hear the guide at all times. Overall, our guide was knowledgable and we would recommend this for any visitor to the city.

Had a wonderful day trip with our guide Micheal and driver Nico. Michael kept us busy with his narration about the history of Frankfurt, Heidelberg and Germany in general (including details about the architecture, culture, arts, technology and more). Once in Heidelberg we had a tour of the castle and the apothecary museum, and then we were given a free time to explore on our own. Highly recommended!
