What People Are Saying About Reykjavik
Had an awesome time with my friend in Iceland. Thank you getyourguide! Our tourguides and drivers were friendly yet able to maintain professionalism. Oh, very informative too! Pick ups and drop off are always on time! There was a hurricane on our last day of our tour and so we had to cancel the activity for the day. Thank you for putting our safety at the top! So relieved they are able to help us extend our stay in the hotel a bit. They also gave us a fair refund amount!
The weather on the day of the tour was sunny and mostly clear which made for beautiful scenery as well as being able to leave the bus for walking without getting wet. The tour guide and driver were professional and friendly. This tour is 12 hours long but it is well worth the time. There are enough stops along the way to break up the trip including a few for the restroom, lunch and snacks. We were allowed to eat on the bus but be aware some tour providers allow only water to be consumed on the bus. I highly recommend this tour.
If you are looking for Aurora I would advice you to do this activity. In case the weather is not the best you won't have lost your evening as you would have had a bath in an amazing natural geothermal pool under the stars, a diner is included and it is good ! Not too big, just good ! I also want to add that the driver is really helpful and motivated to hunt for the aurora ! :)
The tour is professional and as promised. The sights are incredible - seeing a glacier is not to be missed! The tour guide was charismatic and interesting, it was also great to have GPS tablet audio guides because it meant I could see the route and go back if I missed anything. It is a long time on a bus but I personally felt it flew by. You get to see so much beautiful scenery as you travel that I actually think the journey is an attraction in itself. The only bit I was not that bothered about was the village of Vik, it just wasn't as interesting as everything else to me but that's a very minor complaint! Absolutely loved it!
Great trip. Guide and driver made it all the better. Plenty to do and see. I will recommend to others
