I booked this just a few days in a advance as a surprise to my (now) fiancée. We were scared That the ride might be too scary or bumpy... and the staff has been incredible, reassured us and made sure to have the smoothest ride possible and this is an experience we will never forget in the most pleasant way. I told the staff that I intended to propose at the stop we made with the helicopter (which I did and she said YES!), so the pilot was ready to take our pictures and the secret was safe all along, we have plenty of pictures and we’re the happiest! The wine was also very tasty! Thank you again so much for everything!
The lava tunnel was awe inspiring, with ice forming stalagmites from the overhead drip. The lava formations within the tunnel, were amazing and the guide was extremely informative about the geology of the formation of the tunnel. The waterfalls were breathtaking, with the glacier runoff providing a blue hue to the falls, contrasting the rest of the river they flowed into.
This was a once in a lifetime experience. No where else in the world can you snorkel between 2 tectonic plates. Yes, it was very cold, but well worth the experience and memories made. My only complaint is that you had to get changed into your wetsuit either in the back of a van or outside in the cold rain. If there was a changing stall that would have been great.
Absolutely brilliant , experience , the water was so clear and not as cold as I expected it to be , so glad I did it . My driver and tour guide Luis was a lovely man so friendly and good at what he dose , very nollageble about diving with lots of experience and I felt very safe with him and enjoyed his company . I recommend this experience to anyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The swim was amazing and our guide, Ivan, was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. I chose to take the wet suite despite the arctic winter weather and only got cold in the hands and feet just at the end of the swim. It was incredible to be able to dive down and explore the view a bit closer, which you can’t do with the dry suits.
