Full description
After an early wake-up and pick-up in one of the coolest cities of Europe, take a great 10-hour tour to see Iceland. Make your first stop at waterfall Seljalandsfoss, with no doubt one of the most famous one in the country. This is a waterfall you can walk behind, with a drop off 65 meters and a part of the river Seljalandsá which has its origins underneath the glacier Eyjafjallajökull - the famous volcano that erupted in 2010 and put the world's flights on hold.  Head to the stunning waterfall Skógafoss, one of the largest at a width of 25 meters and drop off 60 meters. It can also be seen from above as there are footsteps that lead above the waterfall. Stop in Reynisfjara for lunch. Try Icelandic meat-soup or many other dishes. Take a walk on a black sand beach and maybe see  puffins if you are lucky. After that, drive to the Village of Vík for a short stop. Sólheimajökull Glacier is between the volcanoes Katla and Eyjafjallajökull, and a part of the larger Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Be dropped off in the parking lot and take a 15 to 20-minute walk along the glacier. On the way back to the city, hear the stories about all the trolls in the rocks, the elves and stop at some secret places, before you arrive back in Reykjavik at around 6:00 PM.

The tour was great, enough time to see all you wanted to see; the guide was very knowledgeable and funny, was able to answer any questions raised. Would definitely recommend this tour to see lovely parts of the south coast. I was travelling alone and the guide made me feel welcome and included.

The tour on the south coast was a really nice experience, the nature there is so varied and varied. Addy was our driver and guide for the day. She told us a lot of interesting facts and stories about the south. I particularly liked the small group (13 people), so Addy was also able to respond to questions and requests from the individual. The length of the stops was also reasonable, so that you didn't feel like you were being rushed.
