Spend some time exploring a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park, an area of such historic and geological significance it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Learn about the open-air assembly of Althing and how the landscape was husbanded over 1,000 years. See the dramatic fissures and rifts in the landscape caused by dramatic volcanic activity throughout history.

We had a tour booked with our package but somehow the booking was lost and we didn't get picked up even tho we had all our receipts and reservation numbers. So at the last possible moment we went online and we were able to book THIS tour. Shorter than the tour we had originally booked but so very happy that we were still able to salvage our day and see most of the sites that we wanted to see at The Golden Circle. Loved it and recommend it to anyone considering The Golden Circle Day Tour.
