Meet at the Harpa Concert Hall in the city center for the coach transfer to Nesjavellir. Marvel at the volcanic landscape before going to Gullfoss Waterfall to watch the cascades as they plummet down a 230-foot (70-meter) canyon. Walk to the edge of the waterfall and amble around the stunning surroundings.
Next, go to Geysir to see the spouting hot spring of Stokkur and watch the phenomenon of the boiling water shooting up to 65 feet (20 meters) into the sky every 5-8 minutes. End the day at Thingvellir National Parks, and travel between the continental plates. The oldest national park in Iceland, Thingvellir was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical significance and superb geological features.
