If you’re traveling onwards to Keflavík International Airport, be aware that the trip from the Blue Lagoon to Keflavík takes approximately 20 minutes. Please note that you have to book each leg separately, i.e. from Keflavik International Airport to Blue Lagoon (one leg) and Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik (one leg).

On time and very efficient transfer from hotel to blue lagoon. Driver did however aarove 30 minutes early so they should tell you in the email that might happen. I was lucky my hotel called my room to tell me he was here. Had no time to eat breakfast.

The coach is a good, cheap and easy way to get to the Blue Lagoon so I would recommend. However just to make everyone aware, we for example booked the 1pm time slot and wanted to be collected from bus stop 9 in the centre. You actually have to be waiting at your bus stop 30 minutes earlier than your time slot (so 12:25/12:30) and a coach picks you up and takes you to the main coach station in Reykjavík. You then swap coaches onto another coach which is solely taking people to the Blue Lagoon. So just to be aware you need to be at the bus stop a lot earlier than the time slot you choose. Hope that’s helpful! :)

Booked this last minute about 15 min before it was due to leave after planning to get a taxi from Blue Lagoon into Reykjavík. We were quoted 45,000 Krona for a taxi so we’re delighted when the blue lagoon staff advised to book a bus. It was ready and waiting to go on time and was very efficient way of getting back, cheap and good value for money
