Real Journeys

Real Journeys is a family owned tourism business that was founded in the 1950s by tourism and conservation pioneers Les and Olive Hutchins. Today the company remains true to its founders and their guiding principles of conservation and hospitality. With operations from Stewart Island to Queenstown - including world renowned cruises through Milford and Doubtful Sounds - Real Journeys is widely regarded as a leader in the New Zealand tourism industry and is regularly named as one of New Zealand’s highest achieving tourism companies. For our staff though, the aim is still quite simple – to share the natural heritage and astounding beauty of the region with visitors – just as the founders intended.
