  • Rabat: Walking Food Tour

    3. Rabat: Walking Food Tour

Go on a 4-hour culinary expedition through the city of Rabat with a foodie tour guide. Come on an empty stomach and meet your local guide at Gare Rabat Ville. Begin walking through the winding streets of the Old Medina of Rabat, the beating heart of Moroccan culture. Listen to fascinating anecdotes regarding the history and traditions of food in the region, where the food is delicious, rich, and varied.   Meander through the city, stopping at more than 6 spots for tastings along the way. Taste fresh juice, dates, cheese, olives, fresh fruits, and mint tea. Your last stop will be to savor a tasty full meal in a traditional local restaurant.

This was the epitome of all food tours. Mohammed was an excellent, fun and knowledgeable guide and he too us to the most amazing places. It is definitely a good idea to come with an empty stomach because there is A LOT OF FOOD. We did several stops at market stands, juice bars, pastry shops and the like and then had a full dinner of Moroccan Tajine and Couscous together. The group was small and there was enough time to chat and ask questions. We're vegetarians, but that wasn't a problem - Mohammend always provided good vegetarian options for us. After the tour we were so full we could barely walk. :-)

This tour is simply amazing ! It is hard so see such a diversity in only one day anywhere else in the world. The driver was very knowledgeable and fun and the car was very nice and had aircon which was much appreciated in August! We were very happy to see areas that are not the most highlighted among tourists like the medina of Meknes that nobody recommended to us while it's a real jewel! I highly recommend this tour !

We really enjoyed discovering Morocco through the imperial cities. Our driver and coordinator were very nice and we felt safe with them. We will keep fond memories of this stay!

Fantastic way to see this amazing country and get a deeper look into all of its land and people. So much better than a surface tour with just dates and old buildings.
