Sam our hotel pick up driver arrived at our hotel on time and was polite and engaged throughout our driver. I also believe Sam was also the employee I spoke to the previous day as our original booking was cancelled due to weather. Sam managed to ensure all three of us were able to experience Milford Sound together the very next day Dean our flight pilot was fantastic! He acted as a tour guide and pilot all in one giving us information as we flew above. Dean always had a smile on his face and tried to keep the flight seating fair

The guided tour begins with pickups in Queenstown and Frankton, before you then travel through the stunning Kawarau gorge to Cromwell. After making a comfort stop in the quaint township of Omarama (where you have the option to taste one of the best creamy chicken pies in New Zealand), you climb your way through Lindis Pass, one of only 3 alpine roads through the otherwise impassable Southern Alps. As you exit the Pass, you may catch glimpses of the mighty mountain itself; but before arriving there is much more to see, including what many consider one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Lake Pukaki is one of the bluest lakes ...

Worth every cent, we had a group of 8 so split across 2 helicopters. The pilots met up on the mountain so we could take a group photo. The experience was one I will remember for a long time!
Prompt pick up and drop off. Friendly ground and flight crew. Good commentary from the pilot and enough time to take pictures from top of the mountain. I plan to do it again next winter.
