Day 1: Arrival
You’ll meet at the tour office in Poreč (a map with the office location will be sent to you). You’ll receive a package that includes hotel vouchers, a bicycle with all the equipment you’ll need, maps, and a road book. Overnight in the Poreč area.
Day 2: Biking on the Prenzana Trail (62 kilometers/39 miles)
You’ll transfer to Grožnjan after breakfast to begin your cycling for the day on the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line from Poreč to Trieste. Ride through magnificent rolling landscapes and admire Istrian vineyards on this trail that was once called the railway of the wine.
After passing through many tunnels, cycling over old bridges, and stopping at many fascinating viewpoints from Grožnjan to Vižinada, you’ll reach Poreč. Ride through the old city center and see the Roman Forum and magnificent palaces from different historical periods. Overnight in the Poreč area.

Day 3: Biking on the Trail of the Istrian Malvasia (59 kilometers/36 miles)
After breakfast you’ll head out to ride on a trail that is particularly pleasant, as you’ll be cycling along the coastline with views of beautiful bays. Enjoy the breathtaking Mediterranean landscape of vineyards and olive grove.
Stop to savor the local food, wine, brandy, and honey. Continue on the trail until you reach Višnjan, a small place that boasts one of the top 5 astronomical observatories in the world. The last section of the ride takes you to Poreč, where your adventure began. Overnight in the Poreč area.

Day 4: Biking on the Trail of Captain Morgan (60 kilometers/37 miles)
Enjoy breakfast before heading out on a day that includes a marsh, rare birds, a cursed city, buried pirate treasure, a fjord, a cave with a primitive man and a hermit, and an ancient solar observatory. Today you’ll be riding on the Trail of Captain Morgan.
Cycle along the coastline to Vrsar, a romantic village that Casanova visited at least twice. Your ride continues through the magical Kontija Forest with panoramic views of the Lim Fjord and the ruins of the medieval town of Dvigrad. Passing Kanfanar and the Maklavun Hill, an astral-archaeological site from the Bronze Age, you’ll finish your ride in Rovinj.
Also known as Little Venice, Rovinj is a picturesque Mediterranean seaside resort. In the old city center you’ll find magnificent palaces from different historical periods, which today host art studios and galleries. If you follow the chimneys of Rovinj along narrow meandering streets, you’ll come to the Baroque church of St. Eufemia, the city’s most important monument. From here you can take in spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
Transfer to Poreč. Overnight in the Poreč area.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, it will be time for your departure from Poreč.
