Chia: Kayaking the Wild Side and Snorkeling in Secret Beach

5. Chia: Kayaking the Wild Side and Snorkeling in Secret Beach

The set chosen for our adventure is a hidden corner that even many locals don't know. No traces of roads or buildings on the way, except for a trail dating back to Roman Times and a 16th century old whatchtower. That's why this tour takes you where many people can't go, without a kayak. You don't need to be an experienced kayaker, thanks to a 10 minutes briefing you are going to learn the basic tricks that will come handy shortly thereafter to tame your kayak in the wild nature. Once left our lovely launch beach we find ourselves immersed in an idyllic scenery made of emerald cristal clear water, little bays and rough cliffs. We are not kayaking the whole time! Our destination for the break is a secret wild beach only reachable by sea where we can stretch our legs, relax or wear our snorkeling kits and explore the underwater world. After this refreshing moment it's still time for some exploration! On our way back, a surprise. A sea cave is waiting for us and we can't miss the chance to get in with our kayaks. Now that we explored every corner of this dramatic stretch of coast, just a few more photos to take before landing at the beach where we started, to impress a moment that you won't easily forget.

What people are saying about Pula

Wow.. this cooking adventure was so much more than learning the fine art of preparing traditional Sardinian foods with local products. The End result was delicious… but what will be taken away from this experience is the love & passion these two hosts, hold for each other, their heritage and the joy of food. Everything about it, exceeded our expectations. A must do… if you are anywhere close to Pula (we drove 45 minutes) … well worth every minute Thank you for sharing your Pane e Saba with us… Thanks Tammy & Jack Canada

This was really a fantastic experience. We prepared 3 typical Sardinian dishes, 2 pasta’s and a desert. Everything was fresh organic and made from scratch. The location was wonderful as well, it was the the old tiny house of the family. Maria Elena and her husband were very friendly and sincerely. We didn’t want to miss it. Highly recommended!!!

Claudia and Barbara were both very nice. The amount of information was quite impressive. I would highly recommend this tour for a person who is particularly interested in history.

Great fun making pasta even if my husband’s shapes looked more like dinosaurs than corn ears Beautiful location and charming hosts. Would recommend

Great tour with an amazing guide. Learned about the significance of the site and it is a stunning location.
