Full description
Experience the beauty of marine life in Puerto Princesa. Honda Bay is located on the eastern shore of Puerto Princesa and hosts a variety of tiny islands with resorts and beaches. It is also home to a wide variety of fishes, corals, and giant clams. Begin your 30-minute journey from the city to Barangay Sta. Lourdes, where the Honda Bay Wharf is located. Before boarding your boat, you will make a stop to rent your snorkel, aqua shoes, and swimming fins. Once on board, you will be taken to 3 different places each with its own unique attractions and characteristics. First is Luli Island. This sand bar got its name from the Filipino 'Lulubog at LIlitaw', which means to appear and disappear on water. The sand bar disappears when the tide is high and appears when the tide is low. It has powdery cream-colored sand and clear blue water, which is perfect for swimming and relaxing. There is a cocktail bar where you can sample the local mixes. There is a dive platform where you can take a jump into the water.  Next is Pambato Reef. This reef is a famous snorkeling site in Honda Bay. It has an average depth of 13 meters and covers an area as wide as 16 hectares. It has a thriving community of branch and ear corals and schools of fish including lapu-lapu (grouper), parrot fish, and spadefish. Finally, head to Cowrie Island where you will spend most of your day. Your buffet-style lunch will be served on this island. The clear blue waters and powdery sand are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sun bathing. There is a massage center where you can treat yourself to a relaxing massage. Your day will end at approximately 2:30 PM. You will head back to the wharf and your driver will meet you there to return you to your accommodation. If you want a relaxing end to the day, select one of the massage options. Hotel drop-off after the massage can be provided with an extra charge, which can be booked as an add-on upon checkout.

One of the best trips I've had locally. Our guide, kuya Echo is very nice. A great photographer, very cool, and informative. He'd give you tips even for the ones outside the trip itself. Everything was a smooth ride for us. First we went to Pambato Reef - we were the first ones there so we enjoyed swimming with the fishes. Best experience ever! Then we went to Luli Island; where we had a mini photoshoot, there weren't much people there so that's good. TIP: If you want great solo photos, walk a few steps from the actual spot where the others are taking pictures. Third is the Cowrie Island. We had so much fun here! There was a banana boat ride and the lunch was delicious! You'd go back for more. If you want a massage, they have one in the middle. There's fresh buko also. It's quite pricey tho = P 50. And the damn thing was heavy. The place is really clean. Only comment is that the waters of the shower is salt water so the soap doesn't bubble. Overall, wonderful experience!

Absolutely loved our day out on the different islands. The islands are well looked after and Eco, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and marine life. We did lots on Cowrie island, jet skiing, snorkelling, massages (which were amazing) and a delicious buffet style lunch. Would 100% do this tour again. Highly recommend. This is our second tour with Get Your Guide and they are very professional.

After a 30-minute drive in a van you are at the port, then you continue by boat. If you don't want to snorkel or swim, you don't need any shoes that you can borrow on site. This also applies if the guide advises you to borrow it. Flip flops or slippers are absolutely sufficient. The highlight was the island of starfish island. Here you can have living starfish on your hands and take photos with you to your heart's content. The bootscrew is always helpful when taking pictures. Another highlight was the last island cowrie island where we got our buffet lunch. The food was typical of the country and in my opinion the best food that was offered on a tour. the guide was very nice and professional. He had background knowledge and was knowledgeable. The entire boat crew was very helpful and accommodating. A very nice tour where you can also relax
