Full description

Discover both a lake originating from a glacier and an active volcano famous for its perfectly-shaped crater with this package. Choose to depart from Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt. After pickup from selected hotels in Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt, head to the southern shores of the Llanquihue Lake, where you'll learn about the German settlers and agriculture in the region. Once in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, admire the imposing Petrohué Waterfalls, which stun visitors with their turquoise waters. From there, make your way to the origin of the Petrohué River, Todos los Santos Lake, and visit some of its sleepy beaches. By then, you'll be at the foot of the Osorno Volcano to enjoy a stop for lunch in the village of Ensenada (lunch not included), before continuing up to the ski resort on the volcano. En route, take in stunning panoramic views of the Petrohué River Valley and the beautiful Llanquihue Lake.

Great day out the falls were amazing and we had time to walk around and enjoy the scenery in the National Park. Nice trip on the lake on a boat which was a surprise so take some extra pesos. It was misty on the volcano but still a fabulous experience. Our guide Jenny was excellent she spoke good English and explained everything to us as we were the only 2 out of about 16 that didn't speak Spanish.

Excellent and interesting tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a very enjoyable day trip. Unfortunately at this time of year due to the lack of water, the falls were not as spectacular as they can be, but still worth seeing. Boat trip on the emerald lake was superb. Volcano was amazing and lunch halfway up superb. The owners prepared everything fresh and were very hospitable. Brilliant trip.

Great tour with great locations for a great price. Our guide Dennis was fluent in Spanish and English and was very informative. Great value with option to pay for more things (boat trip, chair lift etc) as suits your needs and/or budget. Lake and mountain views were outstanding - recommended.
