Great experience. The bus took us to some lovely churches and had a lovely guided tour through the tunnels of Cholula. Learned a lot about the history of the Pyramid and about local tradition and culture through our private English guide who was a local from the area. Great value for money.

First, Tip tours counter at the Tourist info centre at Puebla zocalo could not find our booking. We turned out to be the only ones booked in English. Instead of the double decker bus, they put us in with the Tranvia spanish tour. They did send an English guide along with us. But the only sights the tour visits are the Acatapec and the Tonantzitlan churches at Cholula. They just left us free for 3 hours at the cholula ( concordia) zocalo to see San Ganriel, pyramid/church , archeological zone, tunnels, eat or shop as we wish. The bus with its wooden seats was rather uncomfortable. Possibly a better idea to take the train or a taxi to cholula and do on own. Or perhaps the double decker bus tour that we were actually supposed to be in might be better than what we were sent on.

Tourguide Carla was the best!

Fantastic tour. In a bus full of mexicans we had our own tourguide, who took us into churches to show the specific details, she let us try the chocolate on the market en told us very interesting storys about the history of The Cholulas ant the true religion of most mexicans. The Tacolisism. We are definately tacolic by now. Thank you so much Carla!
