What to Expect
Begin your 5-hour tour with a guided stroll around the historic center of Puebla and visit many of the monuments that make this town a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A relaxed atmosphere and colorful surroundings accompany you as you visit baroque colonial houses, Puebla’s main square, and Puebla Cathedral, and admire the breathtaking gold-covered interior of the Rosario Chapel.

Experience the culture of this stunning city as you walk through the Artists’ Neighborhood and along the Street of Candies, where you can taste some of Puebla’s traditional sweets.

Next you’ll begin the museum portion of the tour with a trip to the Palafoxiana Library. Founded in 1646, the library still has the original bookshelves that hold over 42,500 volumes. Among its cultural treasures are 5,345 manuscripts and printed documents, including historic proclamations, edicts, and engravings.

Continue on to the Amparo Museum and learn why this museum, with exhibits ranging from pre-Hispanic to contemporary times, is one of the most important of its kind in Latin America.

Get a taste of Mexican art when you head to the historic Santa Rosa Museum, where traditional Puebla dishes such as mole poblano and rompope are said to have originated.

You’ll finish this portion of your tour with a visit to the Regional Museum of Puebla at Casa Alfenique, home to fascinating exhibits depicting scenes from local history.
