Jean Claude was our Guide. He was enthousiastic and informed us with much knowledge and humor all about the Alhambra. Thank you Jean Claude.
Meet at the starting point and travel in an 8-seater van to the village of Monachil, 15 kilometers from Granada. Begin your route in the lower part of Sierra Nevada, an area of canyons and rivers. Hike for 2 to 3 hours and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and make several stops along the way. The trek's degree of difficulty is relatively easy and is family friendly, but for some sections, you will have to walk in a crouch. Appreciate the beauty of the place and take pictures. After your tour is over, you will be able to remember your experience from several free photos taken by the guide with a professional camera.
Good tour. Great place. Tour guide nice, knowledge, very present. Only issue would be a better grasp of English speech and understanding. Overall no complaints, really enjoyed the experience!
Depart the city center of Granada in an 8-seater combi van and arrive at the small town of Olivares, about 35 minutes away. Start the guided hike along the Velillos River and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of typical Mediterranean nature. Try to spot some of the typical species that live in the region including many birds and mountain wildlife. Cross a suspension bridge and walk through Tajos de la Hoz, an incredible natural gorge formed by the constant flow of the river. Climb a staircase that gives a fantastic panoramic view of the region. Continue in search of the ancient cave paintings, followed by some time relaxing by the fountain of La Corcuela, before finally returning to Granada.
Put on your snowshoes and discover the Sierra Nevada peaks. With this guided hiking tour, you will explore one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Iberian Peninsula. Walk along an easy path at an altitude of 2,500 meters. Enjoy the route as a beginner or with the whole family. The path is sometimes uneven, but easy and safe. Admire the spectacular views that the high peaks of Sierra Nevada offer. Enjoy the tranquility for hours and take unique pictures. After the trek is over, head to the cafeteria of the university hostel to have a hot drink.

Espectacular!
Very good guided tour. The tour lasted 3 and a half hours. We were able to ask all the questions we wanted, we went to every corner. It was very comfortable to have a radio with a headset to be able to listen to the guide when there were many people. I recommend it!
We loved our visit with Borjas! Exciting and humorous, really interesting information! We didn't see the three hours go by and of course the Alhambra is a magical place, living up to its reputation!
The guide was up to the monuments of the Alhambra, that is to say breathtaking. Very bright, caring for each of us. Everything was fine. Even a small cool stop halfway through which was welcome.
I really liked the Alhambra and the Nasrid palaces. They are an architectural jewel and are part of our history
