Prague: 45-Minute Sightseeing Cruise to Devil's Channel
- Small group
- Duration: 45 minutes
Make your way to the dock at Čech Bridge (Čechův most) in Prague and go to pier 5 to board your boat to the Devil's Channel (Čertovka). The Devil's Channel is said to have been named in the 19th century after a woman of devilish character. Originally built as a millrace, today it divides Malá Strana from Kampa Island. You will cruise along the Vltava River to the Devil's Channel, enjoying views of Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge along the way. See medieval houses that seem to grow out of the water and listen to the clatter of the mill wheel as in days gone by. Admire the Grand Priory Mill, one of the most famous of Prague's preserved mills and explore the mysterious Devil's Channel up close.
This was a good tour but not an excellent one. The guide was knowledgeable but she had such a heavy accent that it was difficult to understand her. We went under the Charles Bridge several times and got some nice pictures.

It was a pretty nice experience. Would have been better if there was someone in person who explains the stuff instead of goin in on your own & reading stuff by yourself. But well the beer tasting was pretty nice. Loved both of the 4 beers specially the Demon one. The best part was bottling my own personalized bottle of beer as souvenir! Awesome! Perfect souvenir after drinking all those tons of liters of beer during my trip.
