    6. From Prague: Terezin Concentration Camp Guided Tour

Terezin is located approximately ninety miles north of Prague and just south of Litomerice. The town was built in 1780 by Emperor Joseph II of Austria and named after his mother, Empress Maria Theresa. Terezin consisted of two fortresses. The Big Fortress was surrounded by ramparts and contained a barracks. Terezin changed dramatically when the Nazis renamed it Theresienstadt and sent the first Jewish transports there in November 1941. These workers made up the Aufbaukommando (construction detail), later known in the camp as AK1 and AK2. These men were sent to transform the garrison town into a camp. These workers transformed the town, that in 1940 held approximately 7,000 residents, into a concentration camp which held about 3...

Transportation was very good not crowded. On our way, our guide gave us information about our location and our destination. Because the drive was long, he ensured that we had enough time to stretch our legs and use facilities. Our walk in ceske budejovice was very pleasant and informative. The lunch in ceske kimlov was delicious. As far as the tour goes, Pavel continued to be thoughtful, taking us to great photo spots and informative. The sights and history was amazing. Pavel was also very contentious about keeping us together

Jákob was an outstanding tour guide. The Segway tour took us in a new part of Prague we had never seen before. We enjoyed all of the stops and the information we learned along the way. I highly recommend the 3 hour tour. It is a fun and easy way to explore Prague 6.

This was a great sunset boat cruise! We had a small group of 5 adults and it was a great way to end our trip in Prague. The food was wonderful as was the service and entertainment. Would definitely do again.
