What to Expect
Enjoy a combined full-day tour of a famous glassworks of the Czech Republic, followed by a visit to one of the most famous castles of Bohemia; Karlštejn Castle.
Following a pick-up from your hotel in Prague at about 08:00, transfer by air-conditioned minibus to the glassworks factory where the legendary crystal cut glass of the Czech Republic is made. Learn how the crystal products are produced. Then, visit the factory shop to purchase glassware at reasonable prices.
Next, enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the shadow of Karlštejn Castle. Feast on typical produce from the menu, including wild game, in a pleasant environment.
After lunch, tour the castle complex, founded in 1348 by Charles IV. Built to store the crown jewels and relics of the Holy Roman Empire, the castle was extensively renovated between 1887 and 1899 in a purist style. Return to your hotel in Prague at 16:00 for the end of the tour services.
