What to Expect
The day trip begins with a transfer from your hotel in Poznan to Wroclaw, about a 2.5-hour drive away.
Upon arrival, the city tour will start with a visit to the 13th-century Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, located on the charming Ostrow Tumski island; the oldest quarter in the city. Crossing the bridge over the Odra River and enter the Old Town to see Wroclaw University which is famous for its Aula Leopoldina, a beautifully ornate Baroque hall.
From there, walk through medieval cobblestone streets on the way to the impressive Market Square, one of the largest in Europe, surrounded by old tenement houses and featuring the gothic Town Hall at its center.
After taking some time to explore the square and the surrounding areas, you will be transferred back to Poznan having had a lovely day.
