Get picked up from your hotel in Mendoza and get on the road for a full day of exploration in the Andes. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, begin by taking the dirt roads through Villavicencio where you can catch amazing views of the highest peaks in the Andes. Reach Uspallata Valley and make your first stop at the town of Uspallata where the native Huarpes settled during the pre-Hispanic era. Take your time to soak in the Andean scenery and grab a snack. Then, continue on to Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas. Snap some photos before getting to Puente del Inca, a natural arch situated 8,924 feet above sea level. Admire the swirls of colored rock and the mountain views from the bridge. Journey towards the Chilean border, and stop at a natural viewpoint at Aconcagua, the largest mountain in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres. From November to April, it's possible to enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park and hike to the Horcones Lagoon. Then head to Las Cuevas village for free time and a bite to eat if you so choose. Journey back to Mendoza on the famous Ruta 7 and get dropped off at your hotel.

Meet the guide at your hotel and then go on an early-morning drive toward the town of Cacheuta, which borders the Mendoza River. Take in an amazing view of the Cordón del Plata mountain range and the Potrerillos Dam, before continuing to Uspallata, a pre-Hispanic settlement of Huarpe people. Afterward, head to the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas, and pass by the Los Penitentes ski resort. Next, check out Puente del Inca, a natural arch that crosses the Las Cuevas River, known for its hot springs. Then, arrive at the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua with your guide. Marvel at the panoramic view from a high altitude. Go to the town of Las Cuevas, a mountain village that sits on the border between Argentina and Chile. See the Swiss-style buildings here. After that, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Following this, visit the Aconcagua Viewpoint. Enjoy the view of the Aconcagua Provincial Park, and access the Monument of Christ the Redeemer, depending on the season. Finally, drive back to your hotel to finish the trip.

The tour offers a delightful mix of colors and landscapes. In the early morning, as we follow the course of the Mendoza River, we'll be treated to stunning views of the Cordon del Plata mountain range and the impressive Potrerillos Dam, which generates hydropower and supports irrigation. Our first stop will be the Uspallata settlement, where we'll explore the remains of the pre-Hispanic Huarpes community and discover the southernmost point of the Inca Empire along the Inca Trail from Peru. Continuing our journey, we'll visit the charming villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas. We'll then travel along the route of the Puente del Inca, marveling at the natural architectural formations and hot springs. Following that, we'll ascend to the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, a towering presence at 6,959 meters above sea level, surrounded by the serene Laguna Horcones and the Aconcagua Provincial Park. Our final destination is the picturesque European-style village of Las Cuevas, located 3,200 meters above sea level. Here, we'll find the path that leads to the iconic "Cristo Redentor" monument, perched at an impressive 4,200 meters above sea level, symbolizing the unity between the people of Argentina and Chile (Only visited during the summer months). As our tour concludes, we'll return to Mendoza, bringing back cherished memories of this enchanting journey.

We depart early in the morning. I'll pick you up from wherever you're staying in the city. We go through three ranges: the Pre-Cordillera front range, the Silver range, and the Main range of the Andes. We have five planned stops, but we can add other stops, since this is a private tour just for you. • A stunning viewpoint that overlooks the expansive Potrerillos reservoir, where we can see all three ranges, a large reservoir, and sometimes, sailboats. • We continue higher into the mountains and make a short stop in the town Uspallata. • Farther into the Andes, we stop at the Inca Bridge, a geological formation with hot springs and ruins of an old hotel. • Our last night is at the foot of the tallest peak in the Americas, Aconcagua. Here, we'll take a short hike in the Aconcagua Provincial Park, which has breathtaking views of the south face. • On the way back to Mendoza, we'll stop for lunch in Uspallata in a BBQ restaurant. • We get home late in the afternoon and I'll drop you off wherever you're staying.

Continuing our group tour, we found the iconic Puente del Inca, a natural monument of astonishing geological beauty, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Kilometers further, you will find the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the highest mountain in America after the Himalayas. The High Mountain tour culminates at the Chilean border, Las Cuevas, a charming town built in a distinct European style. We visit three of Mendoza's best wineries on this tour. We go to world famous such as Budeguer, Terraza de los Andes, Chandon and small and rural wineries as Finca Minimal or Casa Bermellón or other ones if we go to Lujan de Cuyo region. We can visit Santa Julia Zuccardi, Domiciano, Trapiche , Laur , La Rural an other ones if we go to Maipu region . We can go to Atamisque , Finca Adelma , Domaine Bousquet, Zaina Family , Bianchi , Piedra Negra or Claroscuro or other ones if we go to Uco Valley. At the first two, we'll do tastings and winery tours. At the last one, you'll have a multi-course lunch and paired wines. I'll drop you off where you're staying around 5 in the afternoon. In these case we are heading south and west to Potrerillos lake to stop in beatiful viewpoint and the continue the trip going up into the Pre-Andes range. We are going to see some small mountain villages and then we continue to Uco valley on the Silver Range up to get the winery in Uco Valley where you have the lunch included .

Mount Aconcagua, the tallest mountain on the American continent, attracts thousands of people each year who try to conquer its summit. The Cordillera de los Andes is the longest mountain range in the world with a length of 7. 240 km and the highest peak of 6, 962 meters. We will introduce you to the world of high altitude mountaineering, walking through one of the parks of the famous “7 summits” (the highest peaks in the world). It will be about 8 hours of hiking at 3,000 and 3,400 m.a.s.l. so it is a great challenge of moderate intensity! You will need to be prepared. The Confluencia hike day will start early in the morning. We will pick you up from your lodging to head to Aconcagua, and on the way we will have views of iconic locations in the area: Cacheuta, Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata and Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge). Our goal of the day? reaching the Confluencia camp, the place where hundreds of mountaineers camp every day with ambitious goals and after long traverses. The scenery will leave us speechless at every step. We recommend the Confluencia Hike to people in excellent physical condition, who wish to live a one-day experience in the mountains.

Heading from the city of Mendoza to Cacheuta we will cross the residential area and the square of Chacras de Coria (Bajada de la Cuesta, in the Caracol de Chacras, Darragueira street, Centro chacra, church, Plaza General Espejo). Afterwards, we will drive along Route 82, passing through the towns of Las Compuertas, Blanco Encalada, Colonia Suiza, the ruins of the former FADER power plant - CAJÓN DE CACHEUTA (the narrowest sector of the Mendoza River), where we will make our first stop at the viewpoint. Then we will see the hotel and water park Cacheuta and we will make the second stop at the suspension bridge, an icon of Mendoza's heritage; a pedestrian bridge 140 meters long and we will cross it walking. Then, ascending by snails we will cross the tunnel that links Cacheuta with POTRERILLOS (wall view and crown of the Potrerillos dam), with a spectacular view of the Lago del Dique, an artificial lake of more than 10 kilometers long, with a background of snow-capped mountains. We will make a stop at the viewpoint to contemplate the landscape. We drive along the entire coast of the lake, with beautiful views and continue to Las Carditas, El Salto, Las Vegas, Valle del Sol and Piedras Blancas, ending at the Hotel de Potrerillos, our last stop where we have free time to walk or have tea. Return along National Route 7, passing by AGRELO and the MALBEC area, where important wineries such as Septima Codorniu, Ruca Malen, Belasco de Baquedano, Chandon, Norton, Decero, among others, are located. Late arrival to the city of Mendoza on route 40.

Your route begins along the Mendoza River, up to the border with Chile, and after 62 miles (100km) you will reach the Valle de Uspallata. Then, continue to Puente del Inca, a natural arch situated 8923 feet (2,720m) above sea level. Admire the swirls of colored rock and the mountain views from the bridge. A short distance from the border, a natural viewpoint allows you to appreciate the magnificent Aconcagua. If the park is open, you can trek over to Los Horcones Lagoon (entrance not included). On the border with Chile, you will find Las Cuevas - 10,500 feet (3,200m) above sea level - a small village built in a European style. Between Las Cuevas and the international Tunnel to Chile, there is a road that takes you to the monument of Cristo Redentor that is 13,780 feet (4,200m) above sea level. This road can be taken with favorable weather conditions, usually during January and February. Journey back to Mendoza on the famous Route 7 and get dropped off at your hotel. This tour to the high Andes you have two routes you can choose from. The regular option bordering the Mendoza River, traveling to national Route 7 taking you to Upsalatta. The second option is subject to favorable route conditions, heads north traveling on a mountain route starting in Villavicencio and arriving at Upsalatta giving you a different view of the Andes.
