Full description
Meet your driver-guide in Portree Somerled Square at the War Memorial at 9 AM. After finding your seat on the minibus and meeting your fellow passengers, the tour will then begin.
Make your first stop to photograph the rock pinnacle of the Old Man of Storr before heading north to the aptly named Kilt Rock. Continue on through Staffin up to the mighty Quiraing to experience the ancient landslips and amazing coastal views across the north east of Skye to mainland Scotland. Meander across the Trotternish Ridge to the Fairy Glen with its unique magical landscape.
Next, travel to Dunvegan where you can choose between going into the castle (extra cost to be paid locally) or visiting Neist Point with its iconic lighthouse and dramatic cliffs. If you opt to go into the castle, you may purchase lunch at the cafe, but if you decide to visit Neist Point you'll need to take a packed lunch with you. On return from Neist Point, those who chose to tour Dunvegan Castle will be picked up.
The tour then heads south for a climb up to the top of the ancient Dun Beag Broch to marvel at the views. Visit the famous Fairy Pools where you have the option of doing the walk (1 hour 15 minutes there and back) or you can go to a waterfall and stroll on a nearby shore. Enjoy views of the Black and Red Cuillins as you wind your way back to Portree and conclude the tour at around 6-6:30 PM.
