Marco was our guide- he was friendly, accommodating, and great! Even was able to pick up my grandma as she was not able to do the long walk from the ship to the boat. On the tour you will see all five villages of the Cinque Terre with photo opportunities in front of each town and short description variations from your guide of where we are. however you were only able to get off in Monterosa for one hour. By the time we walked up and found a spot for lunch we were really only left with 10 or 15 minutes of sightseeing. Only complaint was I wish there was more time to view the town. However, it was beautiful and the boat ride was great! You can do this tour if you are coming on a cruise. And communication before to confirm tour and meeting location/time is super easy via the WhatsApp app. Great for 23, 51, 65, and 77-year-old.
It was an organized and enjoyable trip, we went by comfortable bus at the exact agreed upon time and there is a break time on the way to pick up breakfast and refresh, then we visited one small village manarola and then we had the train to monterosso and spent 2.30 hours to explore the village by foot and had amazing pictures, we also had a cruise to visit portovenere, it was a lot of activities and amazing place to visit in one trip.
There is a lot to see in this area and we wished we had had more time. Alessandro, our guide, was very good in covering as much as possible and pointing out the places we should see. Most of the areas can only be reached on foot. Portovenere is beautiful, as well as the two towns we visited in Cinque Terre. Alessandro found us an excellent restaurant for lunch and it was a very enjoyable day.
We had a great day trip to Cinque Terre with Inna and Angelo. The tour stops at two towns (Manarola for approximately 45 minutes and Monterosso for approximately 2 hours). It also includes a boat ride that offers phenomenal views of all five villages. The tour was professional, well-run, and interesting despite the temperature being nearly 100 degrees.
The tour itself was fantastic with enough time spent in each destination. There was a little confusion getting onto the tour bus (as we had to get an initial bus in from Pisa) but once aboard, the tour reps looked after everyone and it went seemless from that point onwards.
