A delicious experience to broaden your knowledge of Portuguese cuisine. Bite by bite, you’ll discover the city through it's tastings and local eateries that you shouldn’t miss. Together with a friendly local, you’ll see the authentic side of Porto you have been looking for. Your tour will begin by meeting your host at the metro station Trindade. Following this you will visit an authentic grocery store where you will try a very well known combination in Porto: cheese, quince and marmalade. Following this you will enter a second local grocery store to try a 'fruto seco'. The tour then continues by sampling the best of traditional sweet and savory pastries, with the famed pastel de nata and 'bolinhos de bacalhau' on the menu. The next stop will be a cafe serving an Anthony Bourdain acclaimed snack, which will be partnered with a local Super Bock beer. The tour wraps up with some sampling of 'Tasca', delicious cured ham on slow cooked bread, before concluding with a glass of port wine whilst taking in a serene view.
