Full description

Explore the ancient city of Porto with the convenience of an e-bike to climb the hills on this guided tour. The many old houses of the city of Proto seem to perch over the Douro River, huddled together from the quay to the sea.

Discover the old palaces, the churches, the emblematic neighborhoods, the people, and all the picturesque corners that the city has to offer. Porto is Portugal's second-largest city with many highlights to explore.

The historic core of the city was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. On your tour, see the Cordoaria Garden, the Clérgios Tower, Gomes Teixeira Square, the Lello Bookstore, Aliados Avenue, the Porto Cathedral, and the Dom Luís Bridge.

We took the three hour electric bike tour with our 14 year old this morning. They were extremely good and patient in ensuring we got bikes that suited us even though it took a bit of time at the start. Our guide Luana (who spoke excellent English) was absolutely fab - she took a lot of care in terms of safety for us on the road and instructions on how to use the bikes as it was our first time on them. More importantly she answered our endless questions about Porto with great warmth & gave us many recommendations for places to eat, visit and things to do. Best of all Luana was friendly, knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic about Porto. Highly recommended and a wonderfully way to get a good overview of the city as we covered a lot of ground in three hours. Thank you to Luana & staff at Blue Dragon Tour.

This tour was interesting riding through the city of Porto with our guide Caroline. She took us to various points of interests both high and low for astonishing views of Porto from across the Douro River. We traveled back down through cobblestone streets to the River Walk and back through the town itself seeing many historical landmarks along the way. I will say that this tour is not for the individual who is not experienced with bike riding. Yes while the bike is electric it will only assist you but so much. You have to be prepared to peddle through hilly cobblestone streets, ride in traffic with cars, and maneuver through crowded pedestrian sidewalks as Porto does not have designated bike lanes. We concluded with coffee and a dessert treat that was part of the tour, and our guide Caroline suggested a wonderful venue for dinner with live Samba music at RUA Tapas&Music Bar. It was delicious and a great way to end our last night in Porto.

One of the best and most useful city tours I have ever been on! E-Bikes are perfect for exploring Porto because of all the hills, and my guide Andreia not only told me all the „hard facts“ about the city, but also about the culture, differences between Portugal and other countries as well as many funny (historical) stories about buildings that will make you smile, I assure you! She even made me a list of all the „must-visit“ places in Porto that we didn‘t get to see during the tour. The tour is absolutely worth its money and I would recommend it to anyone who is new to Porto and wants to have a great overview of this beautiful city!
