Experience Casa São Roque, an art center which has temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists. The art enter offers you the chance to you enjoy a unique experience consisting of contemporary artwork, house architecture, and the venue's history and garden.
Casa São Roque is located in S. Roque Park, in the eastern part of Porto. It had an intervention between 1900 and 1911 by architect José Marques da Silva. It contains unique architectural and decorative features, with its winter garden being very unique.
You also can visit the São Roque Park, with over 4 hectares, that had an intervention by the historical gardener of Porto, Jacinto de Matos. Today, the 200 camellias, grotto, gazebo, and arbor remain important signs of the gardens of the time.

Visitors must enter in the Art Center entrance at the indicated address. When passing through the ticket office, they only present the printed ticket without waiting in line.

Know before you go
- The venue is open to the public from 1:30PM to 7:00PM from October to March, and from 1:30PM to 8:00PM from April to September
- The venue is closed every Tuesday, December 25th, January 1st, and May 1st
- This tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility
- Flash is not permitted when photographing the works
- Tripods, monopods, or any other camera stabilizing equipment is not allowed
- Due to the conservation measures of the artwork, the exhibition halls should be kept at a constant temperature of 21 degrees Celsius
- Pets are not allowed in the art center, with guide dogs excepted
- Food and drinks are not allowed inside the art center
