What People Are Saying About Porto Cathedral

Spectacular scenery matched with very good wine tastings

Our guide John(Joao) was very knowledgeable and very friendly. It was fun to taste the wines with no pressure to buy. Highly recommended.

Beautiful tour with an entertaining guide!

One of the better day trip wine tours I've done anywhere in the world. The boat ride in the middle of the day is perfect and both wineries were impressive. The only drawback is that we didn't really get to go into the vineyards. If that's important to you, then this may not be the right your for you. The guide took us to some scenic lookouts that the bus tours can't go to and provided plenty of good information. The lunch was delicious and more than enough food! I was staying in a hostel and the tour group arranged the pickup time with them leaving me free and relaxed that I could just get up and go.

The valley is beautiful and the wine tasting is great!!!

The valley is beautiful and the wine tasting is great!!! Really enjoy the tour, the guide is so professional and humourous. He did make our journey completed.

Excellent in every way exceeding our expectations

Picked up from our accommodation promptly by our informative guide for the day. Thoroughly enjoyable and most interesting tour. Learned much about Portugal's history whilst enjoying typical food and wine.

Great food, great service, great views, wanted commentary on nature

Everything was wonderful - food, service, views. Waiter was attentive and fun. Great experience with staff. Prices reasonable. Wanted more commentary on natural environment we passed, history of the area, the grapes, the wine and port making. Possibly a booklet at our tables to look at, eg birds, trees, etc. Best would be person doing the commentary, eg on the left you can see blue herons. Would have enjoyed more info at wine tasting. Most info was on bridges, we wanted more
