Full description
Join an Advanced Eco Certified one-day shark cage diving tour and marvel at Great White Sharks in their natural environment. Opt to join the tour as a diver or as a spectator when booking. Meet the vessel at 06:30 AM and climb aboard for the 3-hour scenic journey to the Neptune Islands. Friendly, experienced crew will give a detailed safety and equipment briefing. Once a shark is sighted, the first group of divers enter the cage. The specially-designed cage gives an unobstructed view, plus keeps divers and sharks safe. Natural fish berley will entice sharks near the vessel, to give you the best possible chance of a shark sighting and interaction.  Each group enjoys approximately 45-minutes in the cage. Every effort will be made on the day to give everyone the opportunity to sight sharks, even if this means staying on site longer. When not diving, you can photograph the sharks from the two decks of the vessel. After all groups experience the dive and enjoy a hot shower, you will begin the journey back to Port Lincoln.

Service and crew were good and but unfortunately no sharks.

There was a howling gale and the water was a bit rough but I was surprised at the stability of the boat. It had some sort of gyroscopic device fitted. I did feel sorry for the people who paid all that money and spent the day vomiting. The food menu was a good selection of 'good food' and 'junk food,' so everyone was catered for. I found plenty to eat and it was nicely presented by staff. The TV doco's were a good idea and an interesting pass time on the voyage. Access to the shark cage was easy and relatively safe and there were plenty of trevally and a king fish to look at. The organizers put on a very picturesque sunrise and sunset. They tried their hardest to entice a shark to the boat but fell short in that area. I blame the tuna being cleaned and gutted just up the coast. I enjoyed the extra rough journey back in. Better than a ride at the Royal show. To sum it up as they say, 'A bad day chasing sharks is better than a day at work'. I hope the voucher'is honoured.

mind blowing

The whole experience was more than i could have hoped for. the crew were so friendly, helpful & knew so much about all aspects of the day. We met some great new friends and everyone who didnt get sick had a great day. and then there was the reason we were all there......the sharks!!!!! 9 in total and the largest almost 5 metres long. incredible. and to be less than 30cm away from them as they seemed to just appear out of the murkiness and glide past the cage. Those things are wicked and it gives you a sense of how screwed you would be if there wasnt a cage protecting you. thank you to the crew at calypso for making my engagrment such a memorable day
