Our brand-new interactive Exhibitions showcase up-to-date research done in the Arctic by Scientists at the FRAM - High North Research Centre for Climate and the Environment. We will pick you up in the center of Tromsø and drive to our location in Kaldfjord near Tromsø town. On the drive to our dock, we will sart safety prepere you for the activity. When arrive to our pier, you will find your size of immersion suit. Now we give you some safety briefing before you jump/walk into the seabed. As part of this unique 3 hour tour, you'll don a swimming in survival suit and experience the floating among ice and crystal-clear waters, safely enveloped in warmth. Book you private transfer between Rovaniemi and Tromso by private minibus. Perfect for families and groups - child seats are available upon request We will agree with you pick up time and place. The road between Rovaniemi and Tromso takes around 7 hours at summer time and 8 hours at winter season. There are few stop at the gas station in the during the journey. Our minibuses are: Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle, Opel Vivaro, Renault Traffic. The vans can easily fit up to 8 passengers and have a large luggage compartment.

Researchers from around the world are collaborating in Tromsø to understand what is happening. At Polaria, we explain what they are finding out. We invite you to an environmental-focused guided tour of Polaria. Journey through the vulnerable Arctic with our brand-new knowledge-based exhibitions, to get a better understanding of the complex Arctic ecosystem and how all life is connected. Our Arctic aquarium contains rare species that can only be seen in and around Tromsø. This tour is therefore a unique opportunity to study life below sea level in the Arctic as close as possible. The tour will delve into topics such as human impact on the environment, and the synergies of Arctic wildlife. This unique experience will be a great learning opportunity, and give the guests a sense of community to reflect on how our presence and decisions affect our planet.
