If you don’t have a car when visiting Madeira and you are not a seasoned hiker I would then highly recommend this trip! We were collected at our hotel at 6:40am and then brought to Pico do Arieiro for the sunrise (spent 45 mins there) we then headed off for a coffee in a local bar and went north to the island and stopped once more at a look out point . We started out trail then at Vereda do Larando which was a mix of cliff trails which were challenging at time but enjoyable and finished through a valley. Picked up at 1pm and headed back to Funchal by 1:45pm. The guides were so helpful and friendly! Highly highly recommend!

Carlos was an awesome guide and the hike was amazing. We have never done anything like it and the whole experience will be the highlight of our trip to Madeira. I am so glad we went! The path is well maintained, and Carlos gave us headlamps so we could see on the trek up. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the island in all its glory. Wear sturdy shoes with good traction, and definitely take a camera!

I had a great moment, landscapes were stunning. Luis the driver is very nice, on time and he drives carefully. Also he was always available to answer to my questions about Madeira (he asks first if you have some). Logan the organizer was very available to give information details and nice. I definitely recommend this experience !

The trail was closed - no fault of operator due to wild fire damage but we still had a brilliant morning! Driver was on time/helpful and polite! Would recommend !

Diogo is a very chill guy made the experience so fun
