What People Are Saying About Piazza Navona
This was a three hour two, and I think it would have been fine to fit into a two-hour format. Our guide was very knowledgable and great with the kids - a former art history major, who knew four languages. The treasure hunt format was a great way to get our kids really engaged with their surroundings; they spent the next few days looking at walls and fountains for more animals and hidden symbols.
We had a very enjoyable tour of the various Bernini statues and locations mentioned in the Angels and Demons book. Our tour began with a rain, lightening and thunder which just added to the mood. Our guide Demitri was very entertaining and extremely knowledgable about all the locations and the artwork. He was able to add a lot more to the tour than just being confined to the content of the book, many of the back stories were fascinating. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Many, many great informations beside the book story, about italians and history of rome We were seized from mikes south californian accent and his engagement and power from the first to the last second. Book mike, you will not regret it!
This tour is a must for any Dan Brown fan. But our exceptional guide made it magical even for someone like me who had not read the book or seen the film. His knowledge, performance skills and sense of fun made this the best tour I've ever been on!!!! Bravo Roberto!!
Our guide Dimitri was hilarious, delivering information in easy to digest, memorable nuggets. My only beef is that the review of the book at the beginning of the tour was too long. We were all there because we had either read the book or watched movie, so some assumptions can be made about our background knowledge.
