  • The Highlights of Verona Small Group Walking Tour

    1. The Highlights of Verona Small Group Walking Tour

Take an unforgettable walk around the historic heart of Verona, and discover the gems of the city of “Romeo and Juliet.” Meet your guide then wander among the UNESCO-inscribed monuments, such as the Arena, a pink marble Roman amphitheater built in 30 AD, considered one of the best preserved structures of its kind. Learn how it has survived more than 2,000 years, and thrives today as the main venue for the summer opera festival. Go to the tiny dead-alley that contains Juliet's Balcony and House (Casa di Giulietta). Many choose to pin a love letter to the wall. Discover the heart of the historic centre with the famous Piazza Erbe and Torre dei Lamberti as well as little Medieval buildings and iconic squares of this beautiful city.

Excellent guide. Small group of mixed nationalities but Alberto our guide made sure everyone was included and understood. Great way to see major sites and discover places you may not have found wandering around by yourself.

  • 2-hour Private Guided Walking Tour of Verona

    3. 2-hour Private Guided Walking Tour of Verona

The tour starts at the Roman Arena, where you’ll marvel at the imposing and surprisingly well preserved Roman amphitheater that is the true heart of Verona. From here you’ll head to the Capulet house, where you can ponder why Juliet is so immensely more popular than Romeo, and learn about Juliet's Club. Visit the laid-back Piazza Erbe, most likely the oldest, continuously functioning marketplace in the world. Adjacent is the classy Piazza dei Signori, considered to the living room of the city, and home to elegant statues of poets and knights.

We had a very small group which was fortunate for us. The tour was well paced and informative. We were given a opportunity to ask questions and take our time at things of interest to us. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Walk through the streets of Verona, really pleasant! Isabella, the guide was super helpful and while she told us the stories of the places, all the passion for her city shone through. Positive experience for a hit and run of just a couple of hours, but ideal for seeing the most significant places in Verona!

The walking tour was a great experience! Isabella was my tour guide, she spoke English very well and is very knowledgeable. She told us all the nice places to eat and shop & even taught us some Italian I would definitely recommend.

Excellent guide. Small group of mixed nationalities but Alberto our guide made sure everyone was included and understood. Great way to see major sites and discover places you may not have found wandering around by yourself.

Tour to do absolutely. Our guide, Francesco, passed on his love for this beautiful city to us. A relaxing walk, a lot of curiosity and two hours flew by without realizing it.

Despite the rain, great tour and very nice guide. Bernadetta did a great job
