Service was as advertised but I do wish it went past 5pm … saying something is good for 24-hours sort of implies being able to use over the course of a full day. I liked that the route picked up right at the train station. Best if used earlier in day.
Discover the magic of the wonderful city of Verona and the regions of Amarone and Valpolicella. On this tour we will head over to the medieval towns of the Valpolicella region and a chance to visit the 13th century church of San Giorgio with its splendid altar dating back to 712 A.D., where there are some of the most beautiful panoramic views of Sirmione and Lake Garda. From here we drive to a vineyard to have a guided visit and learn more about the famous Amarone wine. We will enjoy tasting some of the different wines they produce and a chance to purchase a few bottles to take with you, such as Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella. Onwards we travel to the city of Verona at Piazza Bra, where the world famous Roman Amphitheater – the 3rd largest in Italy - is located. It dates back to the 1st-Century A.D. and boasts more than 22,000 seats, making it a perfect venue for outdoor operas ...

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the driver was very good, as there is quite a lot of time motoring through the industrial area before arriving at the interesting parts of the tour. We loved the ancient town to which the driver took us. It was a pity the coffee shop was closed (because it was Monday) however we had a treat because there were some wonderful musicians playing (by chance) music composed by Mendelssohn in the Church! The countryside and views were lovely and Verona was very special. Everything there was much better than our expectations - streets, buildings, shops, gardens, arena, cafes/restaurants/places to eat, - and it was such fun to see "Juliet's balcony". We're so happy we went.
Good excursion. Only objection, a lot of time is lost in the Winery, which shortens the time of visit to the historical places and cities, not being able to know relics of history, as was the colosseum. You should review those times.
This was an enjoyable day, at great winery and vineyard, enjoyed tour, then Verona was such a sweet town. Loved it all! Thanks Simone, you were a wonderful guide.
Nice relaxed pace, beautiful scenery. Small group of only 7, driver was very helpful and informative.
