  • Verona: Hop-on Hop-off Tour 24 or 48-Hour Ticket

    1. Verona: Hop-on Hop-off Tour 24 or 48-Hour Ticket

Hop on the open-top red bus and see the sights of Verona as you learn more about this historic city from the onboard multilingual audio commentary. Travel on 2 routes that have been specifically designed to show you the main attractions of the city. Both tours start from Piazza Brà, the Square of the Arena. You can hop off and explore at your leisure, re-boarding the bus as often as you like with your 24 or 48-hour ticket. Well-known as the setting for the story of Romeo and Juliet, historic Verona is a blend of its storied past and its modern industrial base. This was one of the most powerful cities during the early days of the Roman Empire, and its old city is one of the best-preserved in Italy. Buses run every 60 minutes. Red route stops: • Piazza Bra • Corso Porta Nuova Giardini Pradaval • Stazione FS Porta Nuova • Piazza Pozza • Basilica S. Zeno Castelvecchio • Via Diaz Porta Bo...

Service was as advertised but I do wish it went past 5pm … saying something is good for 24-hours sort of implies being able to use over the course of a full day. I liked that the route picked up right at the train station. Best if used earlier in day.

If you're feeling sporty, 289 steps are waiting for you! After your visit to the tower, you can access the adjacent Gallery of Modern Art located in Palazzo della Ragione, a historical palace from the twelfth century.

The tour starts with the tower, (entrance is downstairs right outside the ticket door) then the gallery up the stairs in the square. There are lockers to keep your items in while you walk around the gallery and tower as well! There are both stairs and an elevator to get to the top
