The Aek team and guide were great. They allowed us to visit the different sites alone (with the 30 people on the boat). We were able to take the time at each stop. Only downside is the village on stilts where we wander the streets and we are very requested by the locals to buy. It was still nice to see this village. The meals on the island is very good, plentiful, a little spicy for the children and we were able to spend 1 hour on a beach worthy of postcards.

The early start was worth it. We were the first boat to moor at James Bond island although the island itself is a bit disappointing :-) But we had more things lines up that were worth it. Next we went for a canoe ride in a beautiful are between lime formations and greenery. We saw tiny bats in a cave, some interesting formations from the limestone, strange spiders, a water snake and an iguana. Next was the floating island which was interesting to see. After that we went into a lagoon inside one of the limestone islands. As it was a low tide we tracked in the water to enter through a cave. It was fascinating to see how water has dug inside the rock to form this space inside with vegetation . Finally lunch and some beach time at a beautiful island.

The places we visited were great. It is definitely worth it to book the early bird. Our guide Lily was great fun and super helpful. The only thing is that we are supposed to be picked up at 5.15 but the transfer came at 6am. For the lunch I asked for vegan options and they cooked some tofu which was very tasty.
