We stayed for 15 days in Thailand and did several island tours in different locations. I must say that this was the best one in every aspect, and mostly thanks to the tour operator SeaStar (without any discredit to the other ones). The locations in the Similan archipelago are really beautiful and well worth it. The tour was extremely well organised in all aspects of logistics, timekeeping and entertaining, and the quality of the food and the amenities was great. For example, this was the only tour we did where we were provided with complimentary beach towels and new mouthpieces and fins for the snorkeling gear. Each staff member really did everything to make the clients happy. The speed boats were also in very good condition and well equipped. Despite the relatively long sailing distance and chance of bad weather, all the journeys were quite smooth. All in all, we were very happy with the tour and recommend it. The quality justifies the price.

It was worth every penny spent, breakfast lunch and dinner served all fantastic, the guides are lovely and social, joining you on the snorkelling to help look for turtles… lots of snacks and water. The snorkelling was amazing and the islands well looked after and beautiful! Would highly recommended this tour. You are provided with a bag with a beach mat, towels and snorkels, you literally just need to take yourself and swim wear. Thank you for an amazing day.

Pickup is available for all hotels within Phuket. The pickup time starts between 05:30 am. and 06:30 am. The tour operator will confirm the exact pick-up time via email. Please don't forget to recheck your email. Please plan to meet your tour guide at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. You may be considered a no-show if you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after the guide has moved on from your hotel.

  • Child ticket: Age between 4-11 years.
  • Please email a passport/ID photo of all travelers with your booking number to bookingohhootravel@gmail.com for national park entry registration at least one day ahead.
  • You have to bring copy paper of your passport/ID Card or save as picture on your phone to check in before getting on board.
  • Guests who are pregnant or have high blood pressure, heart disease and bone diseases are not recommended to join the tour.
  • On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund.

Our trip to the Similan Islands was absolutely unforgettable! The breathtaking views, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life made the snorkeling experience truly magical. A huge highlight of the day was our guide, Nancy. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the islands and their history but also hilarious and full of energy, keeping us entertained throughout the journey. The only downside was that the speedboat was a bit crowded, which made moving around and settling in slightly less comfortable than we had hoped. But Nancy’s contagious enthusiasm and the stunning beauty of the islands more than made up for it. If you’re considering this trip, don’t hesitate—just hope you get Nancy as your guide! ☺️♥️
