On this 30 minute discovery session you will learn of the journey an Australian pearl takes and the risks involved to produce a gem worthy of jewelry. Your guide will open the oyster right in front of you and extract the pearl from the inside of the oyster. It is fascinating seeing a beautiful pearl extracted from a not-so-beautiful oyster. First visit to swan valley, our guide, Alan, was very accommodating and took us to some beautiful wineries, and ending with chocolate liqueurs, yummy. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting this area
