After meeting your guide just outside the Peleș Castle, your 1-hour guided tour will start as you are transported into the history of this amazing building. Walk through the impressive hallway on the ground floor where you can admire the enormous reception room and the four statues representing the four seasons.
Next, see one of the biggest weapon collections Romania and Europe has ever seen, totalling more then 4000 pieces from all over the world. Move on to see the king's office followed by the Arabic and the Turkish rooms.
As you explore the 1st floor, see the large number of rooms used by different members of the royal house, including the king's and queen's apartments. Most impressive amongst these rooms is the imperial apartment, specially decorated for the Austrian Emperor, who, somewhat ironically, never spent a night in the castle.
This is a truly magical place to visit and a must-see for every Romania visitor. Soak up the magnificent atmosphere and enjoy this tour guided through the past.
