Parma: Parmigiano Production and Parma Ham Tour & Tasting

An absolute must when in Parma, you won’t be disappointed!! From beginning to end our tour guides were professional, friendly and very informative - they spoke fantastic English. The tours to both the parmigiano reggiano and prosciutto Parma factories was eye opening and inspiring. It is incredible how much of the process is still done by hand allowing the tradition to continue with generations. Claudio is an absolute legend in his own right still working at over 70 years of age! The experience is a must for anyone who appreciates the hard labour which goes into making this delicious clean food. Our amazing guides took care of us the whole morning with extra special treatment, such a very enjoyable day with yummy tastings at both places. Grazie mille, Patrizia and Luca. 😁

Maybe the best experience in my life! Sergio, our guide is an amazing person, with actual knowledge on the Prosciutto production, as like he told us he makes prosciutto himself! Those guys prefer to make the tour in small factories where everything is made by hand, and give you all the time you need and the most authentic experience. If you are interested in Prosciutto and Parmigiano don't miss this chance! Also don't only go for the Parmigiano experience, you will feel very sorry when you leave the group and don't get to see the prosciutto production! They are both equally mind blowing! If you are in the region of Emilia Romagna don't skip this tour, you will thank me later! Sergio went above and beyond his way to help us even with things that were not related to the tour and had no obligation to do so.
