Explore the Palace of Versailles and tour Paris by land and water on a combined full-day tour that includes a boat cruise along the River Seine, a coach tour of Paris’s main sights, and lunch in a Parisian restaurant.
What to Expect
Enjoy a full-day tour of the Palace of Versailles and Paris city center, on a combined river and land excursion. You will start with a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles on the outskirts of the French capital, where you will relive the glory days of the Sun King, Louis XIV.
Get a guided tour of the Royal Apartments, Hall of Mirrors, and Queen's bedroom. Afterwards, discover the park and gardens, before returning to Paris for lunch. Dine on a 3-course menu at a restaurant in the center of Paris. Then, climb on board an air-conditioned double decker bus and drive past Place de L’Opera, the Obelisk of Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysees, and Arc de Triomphe.
Admire Les Invalides, Pont Neuf, Luxembourg Gardens, and much more as you journey. Look at the grandeur of Notre Dame Cathedral, before arriving at the Eiffel Tower, soaring over Trocadero Square.
Swap land for water, and sail on one of the 3 glass-enclosed trimarans of the famous "Bateaux Parisiens," providing perfect views of the banks of the Seine. Enjoy vivid commentary, accompanied by lyrics and music that evokes the various places and times of Paris, broadcast through individual handsets in 13 different languages. There is even a children's version (in French only).
