This was an interesting and well-paced tour. Our guide, Anne-Sophie, was excellent at keeping our group on track- no easy feat with so much to see. My 10 year olds were fully engaged through the tour. Anne-Sophie was warm with a lovely sense of humor and deeply knowledgeable, deftly fielding questions about Versailles, French history, the monarchy and even Greek vs Roman mythology

We visited the Palace of Versailles in optimal conditions due to the low attendance due to the health crisis and the small number of our group - reduced to two couples -. Our guide made the visit very interesting and very pleasant: good voice, good company, very good timing which even exceeded the scheduled time.

Very interesting guide, gives a global approach on the history of the castle. Small flat, I had asked when booking if private tours were included. I was told in the affirmative. It is not. We were 2 days there so we were able to book the king's private tour the next day, unfortunately for the queen no more slots. If I had known beforehand I could have changed my visit schedule and also booked the guided tour of the Queen's private apartments. But no regrets about this visit, have a good overall visit of the castle. My daughters found that sufficient.
