We were a few minutes late, but the woman in the office walked us through the crowds to join our group. Our guide was super knowledgeable, and it was very helpful. It’s a big group, so we did not chat, but the four is just about the right length for older kids, so that was great for us.

We spent the morning at and on the Eiffel Tower (at the very top!) with Guide Pepe, he was very pleasant, always friendly, courteous, with a great deal of knowledge and perfect English, which was also easy to understand for our school children. However, the tour does not save you from queuing for the tickets (the guide gets them for the whole group, which certainly saves a lot of nerves. It was 1 hour for us, even though we were the first group. Altogether a lot of money, but worth every cent !

There was a lot of waiting in line after checking in. Plan accordingly, The whole experience lasts about 4 hours. It has some good info but the actual informational part of the tour was only about 20 minutes or so. This was the only way we could get to the top was through a tour company for 4x the price unless you get tickets 60 days in advance. A must do in Paris though
