  • Paris: How to Become a Parisian 1-Hour Show

    3. Paris: How to Become a Parisian 1-Hour Show

Take your seats for a show with a difference, and discover what it’s really like to be a Parisian. The English language comedy explores the cultural differences between the people of Paris and the rest of the world. Discover why they got their reputation for being rude through spot-on impressions and everyday scenarios. Get to know the difference between born-and-bred Parisians and the rest of the world. The show has been enjoyed by more than 800,000 locals and visitors alike. Join them as you learn some typical Parisian language and facial expressions that will help you pass for a local. Find out what the protocol is for traveling on public transport, the etiquette when browsing the shops, and how best to navigate the nightlife scene. Then, walk out knowing how to fake it as a real Parisian, and how to act in every situation you’ll encounter during your stay.

Very funny at the start, approaching the end it was obvious he'd run out of things to say. Also, moving his eyebrows around is not as funny as he thinks it is, certainly not the 6th or 7th time, but he is at all times likeable and the humour is never cruel and so it's easy to run with it. He also managed to fit some topical comments in, which were genuinely funny. An amusing and reasonably insightful way to spend our first night in Paris.

  • Paris: French Wine Tasting Class with Sommelier

    4. Paris: French Wine Tasting Class with Sommelier

Join the kind of class you weren't offered at school and get advice on how to identify, select, and taste wine. Held in a lovely location in central Paris, you will go on a journey through the wine regions of France for the wine tasting tour de France option, and get a much better understanding and knowledge about wine in general. The venue is a few minutes walk from the Louvre, and you will taste different wines, from different regions of France. Discover the difference between the wine produce of Champagne and Bordeaux, of Sancerre and the Rhone. With a unique and refreshing approach, your sommelier will take you through a variety of themes to build up your wine knowledge. He will teach you how Champagne is made and how to taste wine properly. He will take you through the main wine regions of France, the grapes they grow, and the style of wine they make. He will also teach you how to...

The location was great, as well as the selection of wines. The sommlier was engaging with a phenomenal personality & knowledge base. I would say, the information is more for beginners and overview is extremely breif about regions and varietals (but to be honest France is large and there are thousands of vinyards, impossible to cover in depth in an hour). Having an extensive knowledge base from working in the wine industry for the US, I always feel any opportunity is one to learn from, however, besides a few wine facts from the French perspective, I cannot say it was significantly informative for wine geeks. In other words, if you want to have a great time and try some delicious French wines, go! If you already know quite a bit, just sit back and enjoy the tasting :) it's a tasting foremost, and not a class. I enjoyed it as a last hurrah in Paris.

Riding a sidecar in and around Paris was A Plus. Navigation through traffic was easy therefore we were able to see so many things. The ll’Arc de Triomphe was beautiful lit up at night. So many romantic plazas, beautiful buildings and a bottle of champagne to top it off. The French do love ve their champagne. The driver was very enthusiastic which help blend with the side car experience. Really great.

Olivia was a fun and energetic guide. She clearly loves what she does. She was a great driver, too! This is a long day but it’s interesting to experience the differences between the wild gardens of Monet and the structured gardens at Versailles. Enjoy!

Ay 9: line for thé crêpes and line for the cruise, quite some people but the boat was big enough.

Delícioso passeio de barco passando pelos principais pontos turísticos.

Beautiful gardens William our tour guide was awesome!
