Full description

We start our tour with visiting Monastery of Chrysorrogiatissa, set in beautiful natural surroundings, that dedicated to ‘Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate’. The following stop is the wealthiest and most lavish on the island - Monastery of Kykkos. It stands on a mountain peak at an altitude of 1300 metres and it preserves one of the three icons of the Mother of God said to have been painted by the Apostle Luke. Our next stop is Pedhulas village where we will enjoy delicious traditional meze-style lunch in a tavern with breathtaking mountains views. At the end of the day we will visit one of the winery in Platres village for wine tasting. Entrance fees, wine tasting and lunch included in the price.

Punctual pick-up from the hotel, wonderful guide Mrs. Elżbieta, thanks to whom we obtained a lot of interesting information. The trip was long and we felt taken care of the whole time and the driver took us safely through the mountain serpentines. The trip program was well prepared so that despite the high temperature we did not feel tired and tired, and the last point, the vineyard, put us in a good mood. I recommend a trip to the Trodos Mountains, so different but interesting.
