Barcelona: Full-Day Costa Brava and Dalí Museum Tour

1. Barcelona: Full-Day Costa Brava and Dalí Museum Tour

After meeting up at your bus, you will take the motorway before arriving in Calella de Palafrugell at around 9:45 AM. Calella de Palafrugell is a village of great beauty in both architecture and landscape. The town, splashed with small bays, becomes a fusion of land and sea that has an incomparable setting. Enjoy some free time to explore the village, enjoy the scenery, and take great photographs. Later, start walking along Camino de Ronda, which is going to lead you to the neighborhood town of Llafranc. You will then hike for about 30 minutes over terrain which is easy to navigate for everyone. The “Camino de Ronda” borders all the Costa Brava, and was used to control maritime smuggling. Today, thanks to this, you can discover beautiful spots that wouldn’t be otherwise accessible Heading back to the bus, you will go onward to Pals, a town located inland on the top of a hill. The location is entirely built into an ancient Medieval village, and the enclosure is crowned with a cylindrical tower from the 12th century. It also has an excellent terrace that offers stunning views of the Costa Brava and its immediate surroundings. Walking through the cobbled streets, you will feel like you have gone back in time. In the afternoon, arrive at Figueres where you can enjoy an hour and a half to grab lunch (own expense). Spend your time exploring the quaint streets of the old town before visiting the incredible Dalí Theater-Museum, which houses the largest collection of his artworks.

What people are saying about Pals

I was a little anxious because the price was much lower than other tour companies, but I felt it was a wonderful tour worth more than the price. It was a pity that there was no hotel pick-up, but the meeting place was easy to understand at the tour desk, clean and comfortable. The only hot thing was the day of the bus which was quite warm, but the air conditioning was too effective and it was very cold. Everyone says it's cold, and I think it would be better to have a warm clothing that can be taken off and put on. The guide woman took pictures and was very kind.

Really recommend this tour. Lovely to visit a coastal town, a medieval town and the wonderful Dali museum. Great balance of guided walking tour and free time to explore. Very comfortable coach. The guide was excellent - good humoured, well informed, communicative. She made this a really special day.

Fantastic day that difficult is forgotten

Incredible day that I spent on this tour that I recommend here, strongly. I met the beauty of some beautiful villages of the Costa Brava and finally: the Dalí Theater Museum that surprised me greatly. From here I want to thank Laura for her professionalism and her sympathy.

It was a great day! We had David as a guide. He was awesome! You can hardly ask for a better guide. He was very patient and explained everything very well. I can only recommend!!

The very attentive guides made the excursion even with only two people. We loved the restaurant they took us to. Lovely treatment and very good experience.
