Our driver, Umberto, was absolutely AMAZING! He texted me the night before to let me know what time and exactly where he was picking us up. He was so friendly and very knowledgeable about Corleone. We can to Corleone because my grandparents immigrated from there in 1914. He took us to the Corleone City Hall and, with Umberto translating, I was able to see my grandparents actual, handwritten birth certificates! Then I was given a copy of each. The lady at the office was able to give us the address of my grandfather’s house. Umberto was so wonderful that he took us there! I didn’t even have to ask, he just said, “Let’s go!” In my opinion, that was so above and beyond!!! He could have made just a regular tour, but he went out of his way to make this something incredibly special for me and my family. If you take this tour, I hope you have the opportunity to get Umberto for your tour! I can only say, “Umberto, you gave me a most precious gift and I will never be able to thank you!

I spent the whole day travelling around with friends on the Hop on Hop off Bus. The stations are so central that you don't need a taxi or any other means of transport. I would do it again. It's particularly great that if you keep the ticket you get discounts on other tours. We also saw a lot and the audio guide was very informative.

You travel by bus to places you would probably not otherwise get to and receive information about the history of various buildings in the respective language through headphones.

Very interesting tour! I definitely recommend it if you go for just one day in Palermo.

you can visit many places saving a lot of time on travel
